Beauty sessions 2019’s new Glamour Shots

Beauty photo sessions are a great way for women to gain confidence and feel good about themselves.

Remember Glamour Shots in the 1990s? If you, like me, did a Glamour Shots session you know all about it. You went to this portrait studio located in a shopping mall and stylists would do your hair and makeup so you were looking perfect. Then you would have a photo shoot.

The idea behind this was for women to get pampered, feel pretty and get their photos taken to remember the day.

I still have my Glamour Shots photos stashed somewhere and I remember it was a fun experience.

Now, in 2019, the new Glamour Shots photo session is called a beauty session. It’s for women to get dolled up and dressed up and get a confidence-building photo session.

Great for brides and all women

Beauty photo sessions are perfect for the bride-to-be as a gift for her husband. It’s also perfect for a middle-aged woman who wants to look and feel pretty.

It’s something like a boudoir session. These sessions can incorporate boudoir but they aren’t all boudoir. Beauty photo sessions can also be done in a studio or at a pretty outdoor location.

Here’s what I envision for beauty photo sessions: a woman gets her hair and makeup professionally done. She carefully picks out the clothing that will make her feel great and then meets with the photographer. Feel free to browse through my selection of formal dresses, or bring your own.

These photos are more meticulously edited with careful retouching to enhance beauty. I believe photo beauty sessions can truly help a woman’s self-perception and boost their confidence.
