Details of the Grounds
Havelock Social Hall has two event rooms; the smaller Havelock Room and the larger Lincoln Room. The Havelock room is the smaller of the two options, perfect for an intimate reception or ceremony. It has a private restroom, bar, and amenities like a kitchen and coat room. There are also two separate stages. One for the DJ and one for the bridal party. So you never have to sacrifice being the center of attention on your wedding day. Of course, the room also has a large dance floor, so you and your guests can dance the night away!
The Lincoln Room can accommodate up to 450 guests! Similarly to the Havelock room, it also has its own private bathroom, bar, coat room, and an enormous dance floor. So there is room for all of your guests, however many you invite. The Lincoln Room rental fee includes all setup and cleanup, a cash bar, and bartenders. It’s the perfect space if you are looking to invite your entire guest list. Alternatively, you can keep your numbers smaller and have plenty of room for fun amenities like a photo booth or dessert bar at Havelock Social Hall!
Both spaces are designed with neutral colors and decor so you can bring your own decorative style to your wedding. Whatever your color palette, florals, or lighting preferences, your ideal wedding aesthetic will work at the Havelock Social Hall. In addition, their low, romantic lighting with playful string lights will set the scene for an evening full of love and fun.
A few things to note are that the venue is entirely indoors (a definite perk in the winter!) There are also no dressing room spaces for bridal parties, so you will need an offsite space to get ready.
Photography Opportunities
Because the Havelock Social Hall is entirely indoors, your photographer can focus more on getting those classic action shots! The string lighting makes for intimate first dance photos on the dance floor. Cake cutting, heartfelt speeches, and elegant detail shots will be perfect in this space. Grab fun, silly photos of everyone getting groovy on the dance floor that you can look back on and smile at every time you open your wedding album.
Wedding Details
All food and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) must be provided by Havelock. But not to worry – their delicious food can be customized to suit your ideal menu and budget. Havelock Social Hall bartenders are also staffed for every event. The setup and teardown of your entire event are also handled, so you have nothing to think about other than enjoying your first night married to your spouse.
Other amenities include private parking and a sound system available for your DJ for an extra fee.
