Videography Preserves Faded Memories

Moments in Time Images had a booth in a bridal fair in Lincoln on Sunday. Many brides came to our table to admire our wedding videography work. A few said they didn’t know if they wanted to do video or not.

It seems like many brides feel wedding videography is one of those things that would be nice to have but not necessary. I outlined my reasons why I feel it is necessary to these brides who aren’t sure they need it.

The number one reason is cost. Not the cost of hiring a videographer but the cost of a wedding. I don’t even know how much money brides are spending on weddings these days but I do know it’s thousands and thousands of dollars. To me it doesn’t make sense to spend so much money in one day only to have it over hours later and ending in a blur. For brides and grooms, wedding days surely are over in a blur. There are things you won’t remember and things you will never see. It makes perfect sense to spend a little more money and have these moments recorded on video to relive and refresh your memory. Since you spend all this money, why wouldn’t you want a permanent reminder that will remind you where all that money went.

Some brides definitely know they want video, and these are wise women. These brides won’t forget what they looked like and won’t forget the little moments that took place because they’ll have it recorded to cherish.
