Welcome to my blog. On this page you will find articles I personally write about the photography industry and my work. You will also see blogs showing the photos from many of my photo sessions.
Moments in Time Images had the privilege of videotaping a Christmastime wedding of Ginger and Tom in Lincoln. They are a beautiful couple and had a beautiful day for their wedding. Though a bit chilly, the sun was shining and decorations of Christmas were still evident. Poinsettias decorated the church, which created a beautiful backdrop for some photos. I understand they picked Dec. 27 because that is the day some grandparents had been married many years back. What a great tribute to some loved family members. Here Ginger and her father prepare to walk down the aisle. Ginger became a little emotional and tried to hold back the tears. Here she bites her lip while her father lovingly looks at her.
Prior to the wedding, I asked Tom and Ginger to pose for a few photos for me. They graciously complied and I got some beautiful shots. It helped that the couple was a very nice looking couple. I love the color in these pictures. I also love the little lights in the background that are softly out of focus. All these photos were taken without additional light as the natural lighting was perfect by itself.

St. Joseph Church in Lincoln was the setting for the wedding, and it created a beautiful backdrop for photos. In the first photo below Ginger poses with her mother and three sisters. In the second one, Ginger and Tom kneel at the alter during the ceremony. Moments in Time Images loves a Christmastime wedding. The scenery is beautiful, the weather is crisp and the overall frame of mind is happy. What a beautiful way to celebrate the season — with a beautiful wedding and some great photos. Sure, most weddings take place in the spring, summer and fall, but a Christmastime wedding is a joyful occasion during a joyful season.
