Welcome to my blog. On this page you will find articles I personally write about the photography industry and my work. You will also see blogs showing the photos from many of my photo sessions.
You will find huge fluctuations in wedding video pricing. If you look hard enough, you’ll likely find a videographer to fit whatever budget you have. You can ask a friend or relative to shoot for you at possibly little or no cost. Or you c
an pay a professional videographer several thousand dollars.
As a general rule, I would tell you to expect to spend a minimum of $1,000 on a professional videographer. You should be able to find a videographer for $1,000.
However, as the old adage goes — you get what you pay for. Generally a $1,000 job will give you a video of the ceremony and some reception highlights. Sometimes you won’t even get the reception for that. Don’t expect any extras.
Some of the extras that you could get by spending more on your video include: highlight videos or trailers, love story films, slow motion films, slide shows.
I’m not going to give out names of other companies, but there is a wide range of prices in Nebraska. Some companies will provide the basics while others have a higher price tag and provide a lot more. You can even get video the quality of a high-class filmmaker if you want to pay for it.
So the answer to the question about how much you spend will depend on how much you want. Do you want a love story video to show at your reception? Do you want a brief highlight trailer that you can show your friends and post online? Or do you just want a basic recording of the ceremony?
