About The Lincoln Station Great Hall Wedding Venue
Located at 201 N 7th Street, Lincoln Station Great Hall is in the Historic Haymarket. Originally part of a historic train depot, the building has been transformed into the great hall it is now by Premier Catering, who owns and operates the venue. Premier Catering is a family-owned and operated catering and event planning company that serves quite a few different venues in Nebraska. Premier Catering has experience hosting events ranging from 50 to 5,000 guests, including events for clients such as ABC Sports, ESPN, the University of Nebraska, HUDL, Nebraska Alumni Association, the Governor’s Inaugural Ball, and more!
Details of the Grounds
Lincoln Station Great Hall has a max capacity of 425 guests and is an elegant space with 19-foot beamed ceilings, marble floors, a beautiful marbled dance floor, a raised stage, and wide, open windows. The venue also has a new acoustic and audio-visual system.

Wedding Details
In addition to the rental of the venue, Lincoln Station Great Hall and Premier Catering provides other services, including the following: tables, linen tablecloths, linen napkins, plates, china settings as requested, silverware, beverage service, and, most importantly, catering! A full-service beverage menu includes domestic bottled beer, craft imported bottled beer, wine by the glass, premium liquors, champagne, soft beverages, a bloody mary bar, a mimosa bar, and a host bar or cash bar. They also provide self-serve refreshments, such as cookies, turtle brownies, and blonde bars. Premier Catering also offers the following hors d’oeuvres: sausage stuffed mushrooms, spinach and artichoke dip, teriyaki glazed salmon skewers, specialty cheese trays, market fresh seasonal fruits, and lemon splash jumbo shrimp. This catering service can also provide an hors d’oeuvres buffet with items like gourmet sweets, spiced tortilla rolls, vegetable crudites with roasted garlic hummus, and sweet chili sauce meatballs.
Premier Catering has a few different dinner buffets to choose from, as well as stations and table-serviced entrees. The diamond buffet consists of one entree, one potato side, one vegetable side, and two salads with two dressings and rolls. In contrast, the platinum, gold, and emerald buffets consist of two entrees, one potato side, one vegetable side, and two salads with dressings and rolls. Stations include carved sliders, interactive, dessert, and salad options, with various dishes such as pasta bella stations, mac and cheese bars, Cuban style sliders, carved prime rib, seasonal salad stations, and brownie sundae stations. Along with the variety of desserts on their menu, Premier Catering can also provide a custom wedding cake!
