Talon Room
Are you looking for an intimate space for a great party? The Talon Room has been one of Lincoln’s premier reception halls since it opened in 2016. As you descend a dramatic staircase, you’ll find yourself in a spacious room with exposed brick, warm wooden accents, and string lighting hanging from the ceiling. A wedding at the Talon Room includes event coordination, full-service catering and bartending (although you can bring in your own licensed caterer for an additional fee), and even decorating services!
Whether you style the space with your own unique vision or leave the planning to the Talon Room event staff with an all-inclusive package, it’s the perfect space for a wedding with a guest list of up to 250 people. While ultimately a reception hall, you can also choose to have your ceremony with the Talon Room. However, you’ll likely need to plan on flipping the space in between. It includes all furniture, set-up and clean-up, and plenty of space for a dance floor that can accommodate all of your favorite people!
The Apothecary Lofts and Ridnour Room
The Apothecary Lofts and Ridnour Room are three versatile spaces that are fantastic for wedding receptions. Both Apothecary Lofts, the North and South, have a rustic, industrial aesthetic with large wooden beams and exposed ductwork on the ceiling and gorgeous red brick walls.
Both lofts feature a large, home-like kitchen and, uniquely, a massive suite with a king-sized bed, soaking tub, and fireplace, perfect for unwinding on your wedding night after the guests have left. The South Loft accommodates 100 guests, and the North Loft up to 150 people.
The Ridnour Room is a spacious reception venue wholly renovated in 2017. With space for up to 285 guests, it has a large dance floor with a built-in DJ booth, LED overhead lighting, stacked stone backdrops behind the head table and cake table, and a large kitchen. One of the biggest perks of having your reception at The Apothecary Lofts and Ridnour Room is that you are in total control of your catering and bar services. Bring in any licensed caterer and bartender for a delicious evening that is totally suited to your tastes!
Robber’s Cave
Named for its historic sandstone caves, Robber’s Cave has been a Lincoln mainstay for over a century. Today, Robber’s Cave is home to various spaces perfect for a beautiful wedding reception. Each of their rooms has high, lofted ceilings, romantic string lighting hung overhead, and sophisticated neutrality, the perfect blank canvas for you to customize the space to your unique vision.
The James Room is their largest space. As such, it can accommodate up to 220 seated guests, with a full-service bar and an open floor plan. The Scarborough Room sits adjacent to the James Room, which you can use to accommodate an additional 80 guests or on its own for a more intimate gathering. Robber’s Roost is a loft above the Scarborough Room seating area. It’s perfect for extra seating, a kids’ play area, or even a groom’s hangout.
