Junto Winery weddingsWineries are popular places for weddings. Lori Black Photography recently had an experience filming a Junto Winery wedding What a gorgeous location.
Junto is located between Lincoln and Seward, Nebraska, just off of Highway 34. Before getting to Seward driving from Lincoln, you will turn left on 182nd and the winery is a short drive on your left.
My first thought was what a beautiful outdoor setting. I would definitely consider a Junto Winery wedding if I were getting married. There’s so many areas that would be such picturesque scenes for weddings. It’s very woody, with a lovely bridge that heads into a heavily treed area and rolling hills. There also is a beautiful patio area nestled in another area with lots of trees.
The winery was started by John and Ben Siebert, brothers who decided the land that they grew up on was a perfect place to grow grapes and start a winery. They began planting in 2011 and bottled their first wine in 2014.
Junto opened on Mother’s Day weekend seven years ago and has events scheduled just about every weekend from May to October.
The owners say the winery uses a unique process to make its hybrid grapes into wine. The name of the winery – Junto – refers to a wine and conversation gathering in which Benjamin Franklin once participated. Junto means joining together for a common purpose.
The winery has an event hall and separate production and tasting areas.
The winery promotes its mission is to offer great wine. It also has meat and cheese trays and pretzels and dips available. It offers tours, private events and wine tastings.
A Junto Winery wedding would be a great decision.
